basically, went out with l and n to vivo.
supposedly for gss, but ended up not really buying anything either.
then e joined us for dinner and then walked awhile more.
this was probably a little fast, but didn't want to waste the food and bedding so we bought again ytd. smaller, and faster too.
for some reason, i no longer feel that enthusiasm i used to when i read, speculating about who that person was. maybe because, finally, i'm ready to let go.
i wish you all the best in there.
honestly, uni has got me feeling a little nervous, even though there's a small sense of anticipation.
should i live in the hostel? should i travel?
can i actually cope? will i do badly?
anyway, shall sleep soon.

i read this today:
"For a moment, we were becoming who we were going to be…together.
no, they're just best friends, not boyfriend and girlfriend.
did it also touch something in you like it did in me?
"For a moment, we were becoming who we were going to be…together.
Then we woke up one morning and WERE the people we were going to be…apart.
That's what friendship is all about, you know. The pulling and pushing and challenging and healing and feeling and loving and moving on.
I would urge you, as someone sitting on the other side of a goodbye I wasn't quite ready for: Don't wait until you're faced with someone's absence to acknowledge the importance of their presence. Love them NOW. Realize that the flaws and irritations and bad habits and imperfections are all a part of what makes them, and you, completely unique and special and rare to this universe. Realize that some moments are WORTH staying up late and missing out on sleep for."
"Today I stand on my own…ready to face the world…armed with the knowledge that no matter how far away from each other our lives may take us, Jason and I will always share the memories of a season where we refined each other, and Life defined us both."no, they're just best friends, not boyfriend and girlfriend.
did it also touch something in you like it did in me?

we won't forget how much happiness you've brought us, and how it's always fun to let you run from one hand to another.

rest in peace, and enjoy in heaven(:
i am so sleepy. shall try to sleep earlier tonight.
i think i've decided, more or less.

went to toa payoh for brunch but there was a long queue so ended up eating at macs.
then went science centre, which was packed, walked a little and left.

finally found a space in imm, but some woman cut into the lot-.-
then went to occ, which was packed too, so couldn't bowl.
had dinner at kovan, korean(:
then came back to watch tv.

the dota games, the night study sessions, going out to study but ending up eating, all the lame teasing and jokes, msn, even reading your blog and crying.
all of it.
i just can't believe that the memories are actually starting to fade. is this the only way to get over it?
i let myself forget, but should i have?
sleeping soon i guess. need to work again tmr.
ohh, and the pasta just now was so spicy, i think i may be getting gastric discomfort cos of that.
dinner was nice though, had korean food.

it was late into the night,
but many people were still awake in this nation.
staring at the tv in anticipation, looking at the computer screens with fast moving messages on the 'live' yahoo page/ twitter.
families sat there watching with bated breath, discussing their expectations.
no, it was not a football match.
it was the release of results for the general elections singapore 2011.
and it was the first timein more than a year since new year i'd slept so late; 2:45am.
and i've read quite many good articles online, some of which i have forgotten the link to, but they are impressive.
"i vote for singapore": http://theonlinecitizen.com/2011/05/i-vote-for-singapore/
it tugged at my heartstrings. some parts made me feel somewhat like i knew what she meant.
5 years later, if given the chance, i will vote, for singapore, too.
"toc campaign roundup": http://theonlinecitizen.com/2011/05/toc-campaign-roundup-pap%E2%80%99s-chaotic-campaign-staggers-towards-finish-line/
this one pretty much summarised what happened in the past few weeks, but i can't deny that pap has really done much for us. makes us wonder what led to all this? hmm... i really hope pap will address our concerns before the next GE.
"what you can vote for": http://www.temasekreview.com/2011/05/07/what-you-can-vote-for/
you can vote for your future. although i agree with some comments made by this person, i also think it may be a little biased? hmm just my opinion... but some things ring true.
so anyway, all the best to wp. may aljunied and hougang prosper.
i shall sleep soon. after sleeping only 7+ hours in a bid to catch most of the election news. lol.
i may not be the most interested in politics, but neither am i the 'apathetic' teen.
so to those people who keep slamming my opinions, let it go please.
we don't have to believe in the same stuff.
in the same way, please also not call people like me 'brainless' and 'stupid' in front of me.
i would appreciate if you understand that we all are entitled to opinions.
thank you.
man, this sounds like a rant-y post.
but you would feel like this too if what you believed in has caused you to be indirectly insulted in the past two weeks.
ohwells.
haha on a lighter note, i liked the fb page for yah ah mee, returning officer extraordinaire when there were only 200+, now it's at 33k, talk about skyrocketing.
smu still hasn't updated. am i anxious? yes. nus finally came in on fri, and ntu came in like a week after application. haiz.

rant rant.
i can't believe this.
8 hours in sch, 8 hours sleeping, and another 6 hours on tv, playing computer, stoning, and generally wasting time.
and what? i spend time reading news, even doing some self-revision when i get home from work.
which leaves me with like 3 hours to do my - not important - stuff.
life isn't fair.
anyway election is tmr, i hope people vote wisely.
here's a quite funny blog: http://knowyourmps.blogspot.com/

haiz.
if you have to resort to using threats, to using hypocrisy, to personal attacks, how can i trust you?
everyone else seems to be buying it, but idk.
why can't you all just talk amiably?
so anyway, work is tiring.
so much so that i just do some stuff quietly instead of participating in discussions.
shall sleep soon.
tmr is cooling off day.
then holiday...
just another week more before i don't have to listen to blindly prejudiced views. yay.
ohh and anw, i have decided that i'm not one of your many supporters, just after reading 2 of your blog posts. doesn't appeal to me.
please stop insulting other people.
